Hash Tables VS Dictionary

Hash Table supports Multiple reader threads with s single writer thread whereas Dictionary supports no thread safety.
Dictionary is typed i.e valuetypes does not need boxing. Whereas Hash table is not typed therefore needs boxing.

  1. Hash Table is suitable for large data storage ,it is not suitable form the performance point of view.When your data is not that big ,go for dictionary
